These products are recommended by ear, nose, and throat (ENT) physicians for adults and kids with ear tubes, eardrum perforation, and/or for the prevention of swimmer’s ear. All these products are floatable, so they are easy to find in the pool or bath.

Custom silicone earplug : an earplug which is custom-tailored to your ears to provide protection and comfort. Please schedule an appointment with our Audiology Department because this product is manufactured from an impression (mold) of your ear. Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery of this product due to mail and manufacturing time.

Adjustable neoprene headband : a headband which wraps around the head and covers the ears. This product is now available with eye goggles and headband built into one product. For maximum protection, this product should be used with preformed or soft silicone earplugs.

Pre-formed earplug : this earplug may fall out during swimming activities, since it is not a custom fit. This product is best used for bathing and comes in 8 sizes from Tiny to XX-Large. For maximum protection, this product should be used with an adjustable headband wrap, especially if used for swimming activities.

Soft silicone earplug: an earplug which is shaped to fit by pressing it in your ear with your fingers. For maximum protection, this product should be used with an adjustable headband wrap and be replaced after approximately two weeks.
